Why the tours are more expensive comparing to other tour companies?

Most of the tour companies in Iquitos have their lodges located to 5km approx. from  the city and the programs they do have are basically to visit recue centers and villages that are by the rivershore.

We travel 180km in order to provide you the greatest possibilities to see animals in their natural habitat and no in cages. 

The operation cost for this kind of trip is more expensive.

That is why our tours' rate are higher than others.

 

What is the recommended length of days for a jungle adventure?

In order to develop the most important activities and excursions, we recommend a trip of at least 3 days – 2 nights.

 

What is the minimum number of persons to make a trip?

All our tours are set for a minimum group of 2 persons.

 

Can a solo traveler book a trip?

A solo traveler can book a tour if he reserves in 30 days advance. This will allow us to try to find at least one more traveler for the same dates.

A solo traveler can also book and join a group that has already reserved a tour.

 

Do you provide pick-up and drop-off? Where?

Yes, we provide pick up and drop off. You just send us your hotel information and we will pick you up from there to start the trip and drop you off at the end of the trip.

If you arrive the same day the tour starts, we will pick you up from the airport. If you are flying out from Iquitos the same day the tour ends, we will drop you off at the airport.

 

 

What time does the tour start and ends?

We are used to leave from Iquitos at 9:00am on the first day of the tour and are back by 5:00pm on the last day of the tour.

 

What time should I arrive in Iquitos to get the tour on time?

We recommend to arrive the day before the tour tarts. This will allow us to go and meet you at your hotel, talk about the trip and check that everything is ok to start the tour.

 

If you are not able to arrive the day before due to your schedule and want to arrive on the same day the tour starts, we recommend to get the first morning flight. If by any reason you cannot arrive in the morning and are to arrive in the afternoon (from 12pm up to 2:30pm) but you want to start the tour right away, we can pick you up from the airport and start the tour. However, that will reduce the time you will spend in the jungle and some activities can be skip.

 

What happens if I miss my flight and am not able to arrive in Iquitos on time for the tour?

You can email us and let us know about your delay. We may move your tour for the next day or to the day you will be able to do it. Nevertheless, some activities can be skip and the program will not be as we offered.

 

What is included in the tour?

All services are included from the time we pick you up from your hotel on the first day of your tour up to the last day of your tour.

Transportation, meals, entrance fees, guiding and lodging are included.

 

What kind of meals are provided?

Usually we are providing food from our region. It is based on rice, beans, eggs, vegetables, chicken, pork and fish. If you do have any kind of food allergies or food preferences, let us know and we will do our best to provide what you need.

 

Where do I charge my camera, cellular or ipad battery?

We provide electricity from 6:00pm up to 9:30pm. This will allow you charge the battery of your devices.
